Allison Hawk was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas, but after college in San Antonio, Texas she landed in St. Louis, and she has called it home since 1988. From working for an international public relations firm to a NFL team to owning a small business, Allison has had a fast paced career that has exposed her to many opportunities and different perspectives. Facing a significant life challenge in 2015, Allison found solace in traveling. She used photography during her journeys to capture her moments of joy. What began as personal mementos soon garnered attention, with many commenting on her beautiful compositions.

Allison's photos are frequently acknowledged for their colorful compositions and capturing the raw beauty of nature. Allison takes photos with the intention to evoke emotions, wonder, and a reflection of the awe she feels within for viewers. Driven by a lifelong compassion for the natural world, her photography endeavors to inspire others to find beauty, strength, and wonder in every corner of our world.
